Giovanni is a graduate of UCLA’s MFA Acting program, Recently, he was seen in the critically acclaimed Los Angeles premiere of "Dogeaters" (Playwrights Arena) and as Marcos in the World Premiere of the musical "Imelda" (EastWest Players). Theatre credits include: "LA Carmen", "True Love", "Orestes 2.0", "Indiscretions", "March of the Falsettos", and "Edward II". Film credits include "Hide and Seek", "Vignettes", "Prey", and "Hollywood Calls". Film credits include "Coffee Date", "Living With the Rents" and "Ray of Sunshine".

Gio joined Will & Company in Winter 2005 as an in-school residency teacher, then was featured on the Mainstage in "The Mirror of La Mancha" as the unforgettable Maritones.
